Mission Statement: It is the mission of this company to offer quality materials at competitive prices. Furthermore, we strive to deliver those materials in a timely manner, offering superior service and building lasting relationships with the customers we serve.

History: Farmer's Supply Company was established in 1946 by Garth Webb. Located in downtown Heflin, Alabama, the business concentrated on feed, seed, fertilizer and plants. Garth was a hard worker with a vision for the future. If he were here today, we're confident he would still have new ideas and would waste no time telling us how to do things!

Garth's youngest son, Bobby, joined Farmer's Supply and it soon expanded to include hardware, lumber, a gravel pit and a concrete plant. Bobby bought the business from his dad, and, as the company evolved, changed the name to Webb Concrete Company Inc., focusing on the ever growing need for concrete supply in Calhoun and Cleburne Counties. In 1976 Phil joined his dad in the family business, batching concrete and working in the hardware store. Three years later, Bobby's youngest son, Ricky decided to pursue the family business and quickly learned to manage the new concrete plant, which opened in Oxford, Alabama that same year.

In 1981, Phil and Ricky Webb purchased the company, continuing the family tradition into its third generation. In the years that followed, the two brothers expanded the business to include building materials to accommodate their customer's needs. Soon there was a fleet of not only concrete trucks, but delivery trucks and outside sales associates as well. The name was changed to Webb Concrete and Building Materials to better reflect the full scope of the business.

Phil's wife, Denise, opened Webb Home on Snow Street in Oxford, Alabama in 1999 and offered a place for customers to get a better look at windows, doors, and specialty items. With the offering of DQ2000, customers could now get an estimate on the material cost of any building project.

By 2000 the concrete plant on Highway 78 in Oxford was due for an update, so a new facility incorporating state-of-the-art equipment was built. Spring 2001 brought the addition of paint sales in Oxford, not only requiring a larger showroom facility, but making us the only Pittsburgh Paint dealer in our service area. Webb purchased its present showroom location at 1021 Snow Street in Oxford and began to offer more product lines to our customers. An installation service to include closet shelving, door locks, bathroom accessories, shower doors, mirrors and window blinds was added to the list of services and based at the Snow Street showroom location. The new division of the company became  Home Finishing Concepts.

Recent expansion includes the purchase of a ready mix concrete facility in Roanoke, Alabama and a building materials warehouse and concrete plant in Pell City, Alabama for distribution to St. Clair and surrounding counties.

The business of concrete and building materials is an ever growing, ever changing, always exciting industry. The Webb Family of Employees is composed of dedicated, hard working men and women who love our work and are committed to it. Most of all, we love our customers, who have become our friends.
